The short version
Bad Pizza is a learning game for prompting and vibe coding. We collect the minimum we need to run the app: an account, your progress, and what you type into the lessons. We don't sell your data. We don't run third-party ad trackers.
Who we are
Bad Pizza is operated by Summon, an Unstuck Labs company. Contact us at hello@unstucklabs.com.
What we collect
- Account data: email and display name, your encrypted password (if you sign up with email), or your basic profile (if you use Google sign-in).
- Onboarding answers: your name, your experience level, and the thing you said you want to build. We use this to personalize the lessons.
- Progress data: lessons completed, XP, hearts, streaks, and your prompt submissions.
- Submitted content: the prompts and dish descriptions you write. Submissions to the public "Wall of Shame" are visible to everyone by design.
- Technical data: basic server logs (IP, browser, timestamps) used for security and debugging.
Why we collect it
- To run your account and save your progress.
- To personalize lesson examples with your name and project.
- To translate the UI and lesson copy via an AI provider when you switch languages.
- To grade your prompts and produce feedback via an AI provider.
- To keep the service running, prevent abuse, and improve the product.
Who we share data with
We use third-party providers to operate the service. These providers process data on our behalf and only for what we ask:
- Hosting and database: the backend (managed by Lovable Cloud / Supabase) stores your account and progress.
- AI providers: the text you submit in lessons and the strings we translate are sent to AI APIs (e.g. Google and OpenAI models) for grading, generation, and translation.
- Identity providers: if you choose Google sign-in, Google handles the login.
We do not sell personal data and we do not run advertising trackers.
How long we keep it
We keep your account and progress for as long as your account exists. You can request deletion by emailing us. We may retain minimal logs for security and legal reasons for a limited period after deletion.
Your rights
Depending on where you live (e.g. EEA/UK, California), you may have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your personal data, and to object to or restrict processing. To exercise any of these, email us and we'll help you.
Children
Bad Pizza is intended for users aged 13 and over. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13. If you are a parent and want your child to use Bad Pizza, see our Kids and Parents page.
Security
We use industry-standard practices (TLS in transit, hashed passwords, row-level security on our database). No system is perfectly secure — please use a strong, unique password.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy. Material changes will be announced in-app or by email. The "Last updated" date above will always reflect the latest version.
